The E-SPACE-TBI (Effectiveness of Surgical Procedures for Acute Cranial Expansion in TBI) Study is an international prospective, multicentric, observational trial for comparative effectiveness on expansion craniotomy versus decompressive craniectomy for surgical management of traumatic brain injury patients with intracranial compartment syndrome.
